Back from Holidays!

Sorry for not putting on any new postings for the last week and a half. I quickly decided to go on a bit of a holiday instead. My wife and I drove my parents to Florence Arizona and flew back on Wednesday the 28th.

We really enjoyed the drive. We crossed the border at Detroit and drove to Louisville Kentucky the first night. Then we stayed two nights in Memphis.  We had to go see Graceland (big Elvis fans here), and eat at Rendezvous Ribs by the Peabody Hotel. Some of the best barbecue ribs you will ever eat. After that we drove to Dallas and toured the Southfork Ranch for a couple of hours. Big "Dallas" fans here too. It was neat driving across Texas the next day to El Paso. I liked the 80 mph speed limit. It is great driving the interstate system.  Oil pump jacks dotted the lanscape in west Texas for miles upon miles. The final day of driving took us from El Paso, across the bottom of New Mexico and through a small sand storm, and then into Arizona. A "Beware of Rattlesnake" sign at a rest stop in Arizona caught my wife's attention. We were assured that the snakes don't come out until about March when the temperature gets in the 90 F degree range. Not many of those kinds of critters up here in Canada. We reached Florence in the early afternoon. After three great days in Florence which included a couple of rounds of golf and a dip in the pool, it was back to the great white north.

Even though we had to leave palm trees and cactus for three foot high snowbanks, it is always good to get home. We were fortunate to have great friends who were able to doggie sit our two shelties while we were away. They were so spoiled, I think we missed them more than they missed us.

Anyway, it is great to be back, and now it is time to get back to business.  The springtime will be here faster than we think.  The housing market is there to take advantage of with the great interest rates we have right now. If you have good credit, now is the time to buy. Many people will be taking advantage of this market, and will make a lot of money in the coming years as a result.

Call me anytime for market information, or any other real estate matter. I look forward to hearing from you.
