My family family goes back four generations here in the beautiful Ottawa Valley.  My great grandfather on the Carson side of the family came from Ireland and settled in Alice on Doran Road, very close to the present day Carson Lake Lumber site. My father was born in a house on Third Avenue in Pembroke. My great grandfather on my mother's side of the family (Buske) came to Canada from old Prussia. He settled in Ottawa. My mom's dad came to the Upper Valley in the late 1940's and built Deluxe Cleaners in Petawawa where the Petawawa River Inn and Suites are now, beside the old Giesebrecht pop factory at the bridge. He later built and opened Vogue Cleaners in Pembroke as well.

My dad started his career at NPD in Rolphton. When I was 5, we relocated to Pickering Ontario when he started working for Ontario Hydro at the Pickering Nuclear Plant. Growing up my brother and I spent our summers at Round Lake at my Grandpa and Grandma Buske's place off of Red Rock Road. My uncle still lives there to this day. It's a great place.

I came back to the Valley permanently in 1989. My parents followed in 1993 when they retired. As they say, you can take the person out of the Valley, but you can't take the Valley out of the person.

As for real estate, it is my passion. I achieved Re/Max's 100% Club status in my first year in the business. My business has grown steadily since then. I believe that my success can be attributed not only to my dedication to my profession, but also to my enthusiasm and knowledge of the Upper Ottawa Valley. I will always want to show you how great a place this is. I want you and your family to enjoy the experience of living here as much as I do.
